School AED Legislation 

Protecting children is a high priority that every parent understands instinctively. When Sudden Cardiac Arrest strikes our children we all feel the pain of that loss personally, especially when we consider that an AED could easily have saved that life. State Lawmakers are beginning to recognize and address this preventable threat and fulfill their responsibility to protect our society's most valuable resource. The 12 States listed below have already stepped up and adopted legislation pertaining to AEDs in schools. Other states are certain to follow.
