![]() AED LEASING ![]() TRADE-IN PROGRAM ![]() PROVERBS 4:23 |
AED TRADE-IN PROGRAM On November 3, 2004 Access CardioSystems Incorporated issued an industry-wide notification indicating that approximately 10,000 of its AEDs were being recalled. Customers were instructed to discontinue use of all Access AEDs. In addition, Access CardioSystems announced that they would discontinue sales of new AEDs and no longer provide support in the form of accepting orders for replacement batteries or pads for their remaining AEDs in the market. We believe a significant number of Access AEDs are still in the marketplace. Here are the facts: The number of AEDs sold by Access is reported to be in excess of 20,000. The 10,000 devices remaining in the marketplace that were not subject to recall will need new batteries and pads. Since the company is no longer in business, and of course the 5 year warranty is null and void, we have developed a Trade-In Program to assist anyone who may still have Access CardioSystems AEDs in their possession. To help assure that Access AEDs are not left in service and to assist you in finding an alternative AED, AED HEADQUARTERS is offering a special AED trade-in to anyone who is still in posession of an Access AED. Our program offers a discounted Trade-In price which will vary depending on the manufacturer of the AED you've selected. Give us a call to see which manufacturer is offering a Trade-In on Access Cardio AEDs. URGENT NOTICE: Consumers must be careful when purchasing an AED or any lifesaving device. Access CardioSystems offered a very attractive price which is why so many online stores were selling their product. After looking at Access Cardio's product offering, we elected not to carry their product line. Any organization that has a history relative to being in business for years would have come to the same conclusion after doing their due diligence. Access CardioSystems had financial issues and a lawsuit against them for pirating technology. The lawsuit was never heard in a court of law due to Access CardioSystems going out of business. At AED HEADQUARTERS we carry only the top manufactured products. After 28 years in the distribution business, we know from experience what to look out for when evaluating a manufacturer. Our business exists today because of our history of always watching out for you! To not take this approach would simply mean here today and gone tomorrow.
CAUTION: There are many companies that cannot obtain "Authorized Distributor" status when it comes to selling AEDs. However, many are able to source products through alternative means by buying from resellers or buying groups. Be careful, purchasing from an Unauthorized Distributor may result in an invalid warranty and failure to receive important notifications regarding manufacturer recalls and product upgrades. Watch out for new online start up companies. When a company doesn't proactively offer information on their background, some flags should go up. If they know very little about the AED industry, they will normally offer some attractive pricing; again some flags should go up. If it appears to be the deal of the century one must ask themselves, is it used, could it be demo equipment that was reboxed or is it refurbished. Remember there is risk involved when dealing with companies online. Being careful, ask questions and compare what information companies volunteer when you visit their online store and also what they dont volunteer. At AED HEADQUARTERS you're not only safe, you have the peace of mind knowing that an established business with knowledgable experienced people are watching out for your future. |
